Newton and Hoole Weekly Round Up.

Dear Newton and Hoole residents,

As the summer holidays are in full swing myself and PC Morgan Griffiths have been out and about patrolling our ASB hotspots. As part of Operation Revision, we have been covering all areas of Chester, and you should be seeing an increase in patrols over the following month with many officers patrolling areas known to us as a hotspot for youth anti- social behaviour.

Further to this, we continued our efforts against illegal e-bike usage. On Wednesday we were joined by our colleagues from the Motorbike Unit and Road Crime Unit. We deployed across the Greenway from Limewood Fields to Blacon. It was a very successful operation with 10 illegal e-bikes/e-scooters being seized during the course of the afternoon (we had such a good time we forgot to take photos…).

This weekend has been an opportunity for me to catch up with my reassurance visits. I met two victims of fraud, one on each beat. Sadly this is not uncommon and I have spoken about it before on here. Please make yourself aware of all the latest scams, and please make sure elderly family members, neighbours or friends are aware too.
